My son, the defense lawyer

My son insists that it is all about the wording.
"You said not to hit her anymore" as he is pulling her hair.
"You said to put my shirt on" as he is wearing it like pants.
If I expect compliance I need to be more specific, he tells me.
So yesterday I had to say the inevitable. "You are NEVER, EVER to chase your sister with the toilet brush again." Well, now I have that one covered.

    Or my recent faves:

"Mercy, you are not allowed to pick Mow Mow up by the head."

"Mercy, you may not yank on Aaron's penis in the bath."
