Eye Witness

Usually when a major event (such as a train derailment and subsequent explosions) occurs reporters seem to have no trouble finding witnesses eager to share their story and earn their fifteen seconds of T-V fame. However, our recent disaster in New Brighton posed a difficult challenge for reporters looking to quote citizens who were near the accident. The establishment closest to the scence was, well... a "gentleman's" club. Evidently, neither the staff, nor the patrons were willing to go on record.

Misty: Uh yeah I was halfway through my pole dance when I felt the building shake. Bob is one of my regulars and he loaned me his flannel shirt and coonskin hat as we ran outside.

Bob: I though they had added pyrotechnics to their show. Then I realized there was a fire and all I thought about was my wife and kids... wait did I say my name was Bob? I meant Jerry, yeah Jerry.
