Theology of a four year old (Parts I & II)
I.
Yesterday we were listening to a Rich Mullins CD in the car when a blonde voice from the backseat piped up, "Mom, turn it louder. This is my best song."
"Oh God, you are my God and I will ever praise you.
I will seek you in the morning, and I will learn to walk in your ways.
And step by step you'll lead me, and I will follow you all of my days."
Yes, it IS the best song!
II.
Today at dinner we were discussing sins and how Christ's death and ressurection give each of us the opportunity to go to heaven. At some point I made the comment that someday we will all die. In response, the blonde voice enthusiastically exclaimed, "That's when Jesus comes to get me on his rocket ship."
