King of Excuses

As you may be aware, the title of my BLOG is somewhat misleading due to the fact that my baby never sleeps. I do SHUSH everyone in my house every chance I get, but rarely is the baby actually sleeping. Many well meaning people in my life offer encouragement like: "Maybe tonight is the night." "Maybe the sweet potatoes give him gas." "Did you give up coffee yet?"
However, I am pretty sure tonight is not the night. He had four shots today, a deeply bruised cheek from falling on his high chair, swollen gums (the likes of which I have never seen), and a runny nose. As my hubby so sensitively questions, "Are your boobs going with him to college?" Possible.
