School of hard knocks

It is easy for we adults to forget how hard it is to be a kid. In fact, growing up is the most difficult thing we, as humans, do - which is why I am no longer interested in it. Currently we find young AJ transitioning from baby to mini-human and is therefore now discovering the world just isn't as simple as it was at 6 months. First of all, Hubby and I have noticed he seems to have confused the word "no" with "again." If he could talk, he surely would ask, "Why is going up is so much fun when coming down hurts so bad?" and "If squirrels can chew on sticks, why can't I?" and "What is the difference between throwing a rock and a ball?" He must think I am obsessed with his mouth because I am constantly either putting things in his mouth (banana, pacifier, sippy cup) or fishing things out (rubber bands, crayons, glitter stickers). How is a guy to know that a rock won't digest if you suck on it for ten minutes? And the toilet brush does look like a magic wand. Good luck AJ, life sure doesn't get any easier.
